Experienced Patient Billing Customer Service Support Representative – Remote Work Opportunity with Flexible Shift Schedule

Responsibilities:

* Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing empathetic and informative support to resolve billing inquiries and concerns.

• Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of financial obligations.
• Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, maintaining a high level of performance and productivity.
• Develop proficiency with our processes and systems through a structured training program, ensuring seamless integration into our team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers.
• Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with a strong understanding of alpha-numeric data entry.
• Ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively to meet productivity goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex billing and insurance challenges.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 1+ year work experience required, with a strong preference for previous experience in medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center, or fast-paced environments.
• Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is highly desirable.
• Technical requirements include a reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 megabytes per second, a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions, and the ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord.
