As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of Southwest Airlines, providing top-notch service to our Customers at the ticket counter, baggage service office, and gate area.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent in Montana, USA. As a Client Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service to our Customers, ensuring a positive travel experience. You will be the primary point of contact for many of our Customers, setting the tone for their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional Customer service to individuals traveling, shipping freight, or using baggage service by addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the success of our Organization.
  • Greet and assist Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets.
  • Process transactions, make change, and balance daily transactions, taking responsibility for any overage or shortage.
  • Check in baggage and Freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed.
  • Manage upset Customers due to overbooked flights, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged equipment, resolving issues promptly and within guidelines established by the Organization.
  • Provide current and accurate information, including admission, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure data, and answer general inquiries from Customers and other airport visitors.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the Organization, including discrepancy and complaint reports as needed.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as directed by Employee's Supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • The ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people as part of a team.
  • The capacity to read and understand documents, follow instructions, learn, and comprehend ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Awareness of hazardous situations and the ability to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
  • The ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve quick turns of aircraft.
  • A well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and Work Agreement.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Customer service experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience working with computerized retail systems, baggage handling, and reservations.
