Job Overview

In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our clients, ensuring that their travel experience with Delta Airlines is seamless and enjoyable. As a Ticket Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through the check-in and baggage registration process, and providing assistance with ticket sales, printing, and reissuance. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in delivering personalized support to our customers, addressing their queries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and guide them through the check-in and baggage registration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the necessary documentation for travel.
  • Label baggage and perform lifting tasks, including moving items from scales to conveyor belts, and handling items at floor level and waist level.
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, ensuring the well-being of ourselves, our customers, and our colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that our customers receive a seamless travel experience, from check-in to boarding.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be fluent in English and Spanish, and have basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and other software applications. Additionally, you should be able to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
