About the Role

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll play a critical role in helping us navigate the complexities of our transportation operations and make informed business decisions. You'll work closely with our operations and finance teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth and improvement. This is a unique opportunity to work on a dynamic team that is shaping the future of retail logistics and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform business decisions. Create ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) and processes to centralize data from multiple sources.
• Develop data visualizations using Tableau to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders. Quantify the impact of changes and business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. Partner with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
• Leverage scripting languages like Python to automate reporting tasks, such as screenshot generation, metrics prioritization, and outlier detection.
• Document your processes and share your expertise with colleagues. Mentor team members as you become a subject matter expert in your area.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience).
• Creativity and a user experience mindset to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience).
• Business operations fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems. A supply chain background, ideally with transportation experience, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge:

• Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with data manipulation tools like Knime, Alteryx, R, or Tableau Prep.
