About the role

The Staff Attorney will help review documents prior to USCIS submission and perform legal analysis according to guidance provided by senior attorneys. No immigration experience is necessary, as training will be provided on the types of cases you will be working on, but an interest in immigration law is preferred. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, able to follow detailed instructions, and motivated to help our clients obtain documents and stay united with their families. There is an opportunity for career growth and additional responsibilities with strong performance.

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE ONLY FOR CANDIDATES THAT ARE BASED IN OTHER CITIES WHERE WE DO NOT HAVE OFFICES.

FOR CANDIDATES THAT ARE IN THE SAME CITY THAT OUR OFFICES SHOULD WORK ON SITE.

What you'll do

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Review draft Supplement responses pursuant to instructions from Senior Attorneys
  1. Identify, track, and make necessary edits prior to submission
  1. Clearly communicate to other team members regarding edits
  1. Meet daily goals on reviewing cases
  1. Perform legal research on immigration law topics

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements (Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)

  1. The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of a state bar
  1. Ability to follow detailed directions
  1. Experience using a case management software system preferred
  1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; must be confident in digital document handling (Dropbox, PDFs, online court systems).
  1. Exceptional attention to detail – this role requires precise interpretation of legal records.
  1. Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
