Job Title: SAFe Product Owner

Summary

We are seeking a SAFe Product Owner to drive the successful delivery of digital tools and services that enhance customer experiences and empower frontline employees. This role sits within a cross-functional Agile Release Train (ART) and requires close collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, UX, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with logistics/operations, data-driven solutions, and event-based digital products, and can align business priorities with technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Own and manage the team backlog, prioritize work based on business value, and act as the customer s voice.

  • Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals.

  • Requirements Gathering: Translate business needs into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to ensure alignment.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other POs to deliver cohesive solutions across ARTs.

  • Agile Practices: Champion SAFe principles and agile ways of working.

  • Roadmap Development: Contribute to roadmap planning and milestones.

  • Metrics & Analysis: Define KPIs and track product success to guide improvements.

  • Leadership & Communication: Facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and bridge business-technical gaps.

Qualifications

  • Must Have

    • SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification OR 3+ years in SAFe product ownership/management in a large enterprise.

    • 5+ years as an Agile Product Owner.

    • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent work experience).

    • Strong knowledge of SAFe, Agile methodologies, backlog management, and prioritization.

    • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Jira Align, AgilityHealth, and related tools.

  • Preferred

    • Experience with logistics, operations, transportation, or event-driven digital platforms.

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
