Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

• Food Preparation and Displays: Prepare Maverik's delicious recipes while ensuring displays are clean and ready for customer use.
• Embracing the Unexpected: Adapt quickly to changing situations, providing exceptional service even in fast-paced circumstances.
• Cash Handling and Payment Processing: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning displays, and disposing of waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Availability: Availability to work part-time and weekend shifts, including mornings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or food preparation.
• Food Safety Certification: Food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
• Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour.
• Food Fuel Benefits: Enjoy $.25 off/gallon, up to 40 gallons a week, and 50% off food and drink while on shift.

Physical Requirements

The job requires:

• Repetitive Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
