Key Responsibilities

• Lead Data-Driven Projects: Direct the delivery of Walgreens Health data and insights drives and projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Data ETL and Warehousing: Support long-term and ad-hoc data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data warehousing activities to meet reporting and analysis requirements.
• Design and Implement Data Solutions: Plan, develop, and deploy layered datasets and data pipelines to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Data Modeling and Pre-processing: Create data mapping and pre-processing rules for populating logical and physical data models tied to report-specific working tables.
• Apply ETL Best Practices: Utilize data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large datasets from various internal and external sources.
• Data Profiling and Analysis: Perform data profiling and analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare datasets.
• Automation Tools Development: Develop internal tools for automating development-related activities, such as data processing, QA, and data validation.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts.
• Experience designing and deploying logically separated data environments using ETL/ELT services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct supervision, indirect management, or cross-functional team leadership experience.
• Ability to travel up to/at least 5% of the time for business purposes.
