SAP ABAP Developer with Central Finance Exp--Remote--100% Interview - Trebecon LLC
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs and enhancements in an S/4HANA and Central Finance environment.
- Collaborate with functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and enhance interfaces using ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, BADI/User Exits, Enhancement Framework, OData, and Proxy/Web Services.
- Work with SAP Central Finance architecture, including replication of FI/CO postings from source systems to S/4HANA.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and provide support during integration and UAT testing phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues in the Central Finance landscape.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, performance tuning, and security guidelines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA ABAP programming.
- Proven experience working with SAP Central Finance (CFin) projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO data structures and integration with Central Finance.
- Experience with SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) or similar replication technologies is a plus.
- Good understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) in S/4HANA.
- Expertise in Reports (ALV/OOPS), SmartForms, Enhancement Framework, OO ABAP, and Data Dictionary.
- Experience in OData and Fiori app enhancement/integration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, CDS Views, and AMDP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP certifications (ABAP, S/4HANA, Central Finance) are a plus.
