Our Data Science & Analytics team is a group of subject matter experts who are dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge data-driven solutions to drive business success. We're now seeking an experienced Data Science Engineer to join our team and help us take our business to the next level.

About the Role

As a Data Science Engineer on our Data Measurement Science team, you'll be responsible for driving improvements across our portfolio of offerings by using data to inform business decisions. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, drive, and oversee new strategies that ensure the growth of the business and the overall bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data processing pipelines that integrate streaming, advertising, and other feeds at the terabyte scale, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the team to transform existing machine learning code into portable and automated services, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven solutions.
  • Expand your skills in data governance and DevOps best practices by supporting ongoing team efforts to integrate data catalogues, data lineage, and CI/CD solutions into day-to-day operations.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure our data product is aligned with the goals of each strategic sales vertical and the business as a whole, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Publish audience attributes across an array of ad-serving endpoints, enabling targeted advertising and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Analyze the performance of models in real-world campaigns and collaborate with the audience modeling team to optimize and refine the models, ensuring continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in data science, engineering, or a comparable field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
  • Strong SQL skills, with a preference for processing large datasets in BigQuery and Snowflake.
  • Good Python skills, including a demonstrated ability to read and understand code.
  • Experience collaborating on team projects in Git and GitHub.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a passion for organization and elegance.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Experience in data process orchestration tools such as Airflow.
  • Experience in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Containerized development patterns using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Other cloud computing experience, including GCP and AWS.

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data processing tools such as BigQuery and Snowflake.

  • Collaboration and communication: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $99,600 to $153,500 per year, depending on your geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
