Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Freight and Package Handler at UPS, you'll need:

• Physical Ability: The ability to lift up to 70 lbs, with stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Legal Right to Work: A valid work permit or legal right to work in the United States.
• Attention to Detail: An eye for detail to ensure accurate sorting and processing of packages.
• Reliability and Responsibility: A strong work ethic and commitment to being reliable and responsible.
• Good Work Shoes: A pair of sturdy, comfortable work shoes that meet safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous Experience: Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in a role involving manual labor or equipment operation.
• Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator: Experience operating industrial trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver: Experience driving heavy or tractor-trailer trucks.
