CVS Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL) program. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, broaden your capabilities, and play a meaningful role in delivering results. This program is designed to provide interested pharmacists with the necessary training and development to prepare for a Pharmacy Manager role.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL) program is a formal development program designed to provide interested Pharmacists the opportunity to train and develop the necessary leadership knowledge, skills, and competencies. Participants will be assigned a coach to provide support and mentorship while in the program, which includes scheduled touch points. Participants will broaden their capabilities and understand the meaningful role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive development program designed to prepare you for a Pharmacy Manager role
  • Broadening your capabilities and understanding the meaningful role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results
  • Working closely with a coach to provide support and mentorship while in the program
  • Completing self-paced learning focused on foundational knowledge and key learning experiences (KLEs) outside of regularly scheduled Pharmacist shifts
  • Applying learning and developing skills through various training opportunities and assignments
  • Continuing to work in your current Pharmacist role while participating in the program

Requirements and Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently works full-time (30+ hours per week)
  • All current role required training 100% completed
  • Meets Expectations or higher rating on last performance review
  • Moderate or Strong Pharmacy Manager assessment (Virtual Job Tryout) score
  • Not currently on a level three warning or performance improvement plan within the last year
  • Willingness to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if a promotion is offered
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy locations within the same District

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Staff Pharmacist with CVS Health or equivalent retail pharmacy experience
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy locations in other Districts within the Region
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is:

  • $60.00 - $73.00 per hour
