About the Role
As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of blithequark's data, while also contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth. You'll work closely with our Digital Technology team to design, develop, and implement highly scalable data protection and privacy solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in helping us navigate the complex landscape of data protection and privacy regulations, and ensuring that we remain compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and assess data protection and privacy risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Design, develop, and implement highly scalable data protection and privacy solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with our Digital Technology team to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to data protection and privacy
- Provide training and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
- Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting strict deadlines and delivering high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
* CISA certification
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
- Knowledge of safety engineering and architecture principles
- Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
- Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or overall effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
- Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
