Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner with MinuteClinic, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing comprehensive, patient-centered care, including: + Accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions + Health counseling and education for patients and their families + Development of treatment plans and coordination of care with other healthcare professionals * Administrative responsibilities, such as: + Opening and closing the clinic, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean environment + Monitoring patient flow, insurance, and payment processes * Collaborating with patients to encourage active participation in their healthcare and wellness, including: + Health screenings and preventive care + Chronic disease management and education + Lifestyle counseling and health promotion

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Nurse Practitioner with MinuteClinic, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field * A minimum of two years of medically significant experience or equivalent * Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in your state * Completion of the Spot certification test within 30 days of employment * Proficiency in both speaking and writing in English; additional language proficiency (e.g., Spanish) is a plus * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including training in mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and automated external defibrillator (AED) operation * Ability to pass a FIT assessment and wear a provided respirator mask when required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Experience working in a similar clinical setting or with a similar patient population * Previous student precepting experience with MinuteClinic * Additional language proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
