Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist onsite guests
• Answer inbound telephone calls
• Create and maintain organized filing system
• Make printed copies for members/groups on site
• Process incoming/outgoing mail
• Answer email
• Update organizational database with visitor info
• Create and edit word processing documents
• Create lists from member database

Qualifications

• Previous experience in office administration or other related fields not necessary, but would be a plus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
• The ideal candidate is a Christian who supports our mission, vision, and values

Resurrection Lutheran Church, Cary (hereafter RLC) is celebrating 48 years of ministry in the Lochmere area of Cary, North Carolina. Weekly worship services are at 6 PM Saturday and at 8, 9:30, and 11 AM on Sunday. Worship at Resurrection is designed to be a life-changing encounter with the living God through God's Word and Sacraments. Resurrection is part of the larger Christian witness of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, Southeastern District. We are at work to support our congregation's two schools (Resurrection Lutheran School and Resurrection Lutheran Preschool) engage the nations both locally and overseas, and serve alongside our community through many local non-profits, including our own Blind Ministry and Coffeehouse monthly gatherings.
