Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the highest standards of protection and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle, from conception to delivery.
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
• Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, C#, and SQL, as well as Container Orchestration services, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leverage your technical expertise to drive product definition and solution development.
• Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our technology stack.

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience within a Java framework (J2EE, web containers, and Java).
• 2+ years of experience with architecture and design, including object-oriented design and CS data structures and algorithms.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
• Strong problem-solving ability, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
• Understanding of monitoring tools, such as Azure Portal, and intermediate PowerShell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience with DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework.
• Familiarity with developer tooling across the software development life cycle.
