Job Summary

As a Healthcare Recruiter at Avel, you will be responsible for partnering with leadership to identify recruitment needs, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and manage the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process. You will work closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders to attract high-caliber talent while delivering a positive candidate experience. Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Sourcing

As a Healthcare Recruiter, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with department leaders to identify staffing needs and align hiring strategies.
  • Creating and posting job openings, collaborating with hiring managers to determine pre-screening questions.
  • Sourcing and screening candidates to ensure their skills and experience align with position requirements.
  • Developing talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
  • Collaborating with departments to meet AA/EEO compliance and adhere to company policies.
  • Training managers and staff on Avel's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Managing requisition approval workflows.

Hiring and Onboarding

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Conducting initial candidate screenings and interviews.
  • Collaborating with HR partners to determine compensation and extend job offers.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process, including background checks, drug tests, and I-9 compliance.
  • Managing pre-employment communications and collecting required paperwork.
  • Creating new hire profiles in the HRIS and issuing staff badges.

Administrative and Additional Duties

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding tasks and other HR duties as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in high-volume environments.
  • Experience recruiting healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians) is preferred.
  • Proficiency with HR databases, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • The ability to conduct presentations or training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to meet Avel's automobile liability insurance requirements.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • The ability to sit, talk, and hear for extended periods.

Work Environment

As a remote worker, you will be working from home or a remote location. However, you may be required to travel to Avel's offices or other locations as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and you may be exposed to communicable diseases when working in healthcare settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
