Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of tutors to ensure the delivery of exceptional educational services.
• Test Prep Facilitation: Facilitate and score College Test Prep practice tests for current students and promotional groups, providing valuable insights and feedback.
• Primary Business Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for business-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Tutoring Schedule Management: Manage the tutoring schedule for in-home and remote tutoring customers and tutors, ensuring efficient logistics and operations.
• Client Acquisition: Conduct tutor family meetings to drive client acquisition and retention, building strong relationships and trust.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for students, tutors, and staff.

Essential Qualifications and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or communications.
• Experience: At least six months of applicable business experience, preferably in sales, education, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications, with the ability to learn new software and technologies.
• Market/Customer Understanding: The ability to professionally represent Jovie's marketing messaging and brand promise, Building Stronger Families, in local communities.
• Critical Thinking: Strong judgment, time management, trustworthiness, and responsibility, with the ability to create innovative internal processes for efficiency.
• Group Development Skills: The ability to work with diverse groups, resolve conflicts, and solve problems effectively.
• Business Financial Understanding: Knowledge of the business as a financial system, with an understanding of the short- and long-term implications of decisions and actions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent listening, feedback, and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain successful work relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales Experience: At least one year of sales experience, preferably in the education or tutoring industry.
• Presentation Skills: Experience presenting to large groups, with demonstrated ability for effective report writing and presentation skills.
