About StretchLab and the Flexologist Role

StretchLab is a leading provider of one-on-one assisted stretching services, with a team of experts certified in various fields, including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. Our proprietary Flexologist training program ensures that our clients receive world-class stretching sessions tailored to their specific needs. As a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional stretching experiences to our clients, both in one-on-one sessions and group classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, ensuring a safe and effective stretching experience
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, providing personalized feedback and guidance
• Build and maintain a strong StretchLab membership, retaining current clientele and driving business growth through exceptional service
• Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules, and maintaining a clean and organized studio environment
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in stretching and fitness
• Handle member concerns and provide support as needed, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication skills
• Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, showcasing the benefits of StretchLab's services
• Maintain a strong social media presence, promoting StretchLab's services and engaging with clients to drive membership and retention
• Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at all times

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will need:

• A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences
• A background in a related field, such as massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates, yoga, or dance instruction
• A fitness certification, such as those offered by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) or the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for clients of all backgrounds
• A professional work ethic, with a strong commitment to reliability and adherence to StretchLab's attendance policies
• Availability to complete our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training

Preferred candidates will have:

• Experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training and guidance to clients
• A strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a stretching context
