What You’ll Do As a Game Tester, you’ll be part of a dynamic QA team responsible for ensuring software titles meet rigorous quality standards. You’ll:
- Perform compatibility testing across various gaming platforms.
- Identify, document, and communicate bugs and issues.
- Participate in multiplayer testing sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing efforts.
- Assist with inventory, device management, and test planning.
What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, communicative, and enthusiastic about gaming. Ideal candidates will have:
- 6+ months of game testing experience (professional or internship).
- Familiarity with console gaming hardware (experience with handheld consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch, is a plus).
- Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
- Experience with QA tools like Jira and TestRail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of QA methodologies and test case execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
- A collaborative mindset and ability to pivot as priorities shift.
