Experienced Senior Accountant – Remote Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting

Job Summary

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for planning and executing financial reporting, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. You will work closely with our Bookkeeping team to drive process improvements and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will also be responsible for communicating with external auditors and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and execute financial reporting, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations

• Collaborate with the Bookkeeping team to drive process improvements and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Communicate with external auditors and provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Assist with providing financial forecasts and analysis to support business planning and decision-making
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business operations
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/ internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA certification
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Strong leadership and management skills
