As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our team, leading by example and promoting a culture of honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Leading the Customer Experience

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Oversees a team of Associates at the front of store, ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs.
  • Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
  • Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
  • Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed.
  • Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates.
  • Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate: You! To succeed as a Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you'll need:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • A strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • The ability to multi-task and respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to train others and work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing leadership role.
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs and credit promotions.
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management.

Our starting pay range for this role is $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, depending on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
