Job Overview

As a SAP Basis Administrator at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our SAP technical landscape. You'll work closely with various business functional groups to ensure seamless SAP operations and be responsible for architecting SAP technical solutions, implementing and supporting SAP applications and Basis, and monitoring system performance and usage.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation and Configuration: Install and configure SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP GRC, Solution Manager, etc., based on business requirements and best practices.
• System Administration: Perform routine system administration tasks, such as client copy, system copy, client export/import, and system refresh.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance.
• Transport Management: Configure and manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for transporting changes between SAP systems.
• Backup and Recovery: Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.
• Integration and Interface Management: Design and manage interfaces and integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of SAP system landscapes, procedures, and standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role with 7+ years of experience in a medium to large-sized organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP installation, configuration, and administration.
• SAP certifications are a plus.
