Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our Remote Call Center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to consumer inquiries and issues, and providing education and status on previously submitted documents and requests. If you possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls to advise members on benefits and respond to consumer inquiries and issues
  • Providing education and status on previously submitted documents and requests
  • Meeting performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve shared objectives and goals
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to ensure accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need to possess:

  • Empathetic and excellent listening skills
  • 1 year of customer service experience with the same company (call center experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Previous sales or benefits experience is ideal
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to clear a background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English (eligible for an additional $1/hour)
  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
