Clinical Operations Coordinator (Medical Assistant or LVN/LPN) Location: Greater Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid remote with onsite clinics in Anaheim, Ontario, Riverside & Alhambra). Type: Full-Time. Schedule: MondayFriday. Dayshift; 2-3 days onsite. Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year. Employer: A California physician-owned professional corporation (the PC). Administrative Agent: VitalCheck Wellness Inc. (non-clinical support only). We do not provide relocation packages/visa sponsorship. Full Description VitalCheck Wellness, serving as the administrative agent, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant, or LPN/LVN with strong clinical operations coordination or management experience. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of VitalCheck's onsite medical clearance clinics and workplace health program. This position is both hands-on and strategicperfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments, values structure and compliance, and is excited to optimize clinical operations through technology and data. The employer will be a California professional corporation owned and directed by licensed physicians. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling, staffing, and logistics across multiple clinic sites to ensure operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between college administrators, corporate teams, and clinical staff.
  • Manage inventory, medical supplies, and documentation for each site.
  • Support vaccine administration (Tdap, Hepatitis B, MMR, Flu) and testing procedures (TB, drug testing, phlebotomy, mask fit).
  • Perform and collect specimens accurately, including phlebotomy and drug screenings, following all established protocols (as needed).
  • Record and maintain patient information and insurance details using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Review and discuss patient health histories, diagnoses, and care needs, ensuring understanding and accuracy.
  • Educate patients on follow-up care and next steps for maintaining compliance with health requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and company standards.
  • Maintain clinic performance trackers and assist with reporting and data collection.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Active clean California MA or LVN/LPN license required.
  • Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as MA or LVN/LPN.
  • 5 + years of experience in operations, logistics, or healthcare coordination.
  • Must have phlebotomy and vaccine administration experience.
  • Experience with specimen collection for drug testing is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly Organized: Skilled at prioritizing tasks, juggling multiple workflows, and staying ahead of deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-Oriented: Focused on outcomes, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable value.
  • Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision.
  • Must be able to reliably commute as travel to clinic sites is expected (Anaheim, Ontario, Riverside & Alhambra).
