About the Role

We are seeking a temporary customer service advisor to join our friendly and dynamic team on a temporary basis, working from the comfort of your own home. As we approach our peak season, we need enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to help us meet the increased demand for our services. The initial assignment will be for 1-2 weeks over Christmas, with potential for additional work in February, March, and April during our busiest period.

Key Responsibilities

As a customer service advisor at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking inbound contacts from customers who need your help and providing timely and effective solutions to their queries
  • Making outbound calls and sending emails to update customers on stock and delivery issues, ensuring that they are informed and reassured throughout the process
  • Using our various business systems to make changes to orders, investigate customer issues, and communicate with third-party suppliers
  • Listening to customers, gathering feedback, and suggesting improvements to the business to help us continuously improve and enhance our services
  • Providing advice and support to customers through email, live chat, social media, and phone, ensuring that all interactions are professional, friendly, and courteous

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in email-based customer service, preferably in an ecommerce environment
  • A strong work ethic and excellent timekeeping skills, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • A reliable laptop/computer, internet connection, and mitigation against network downtime and load shedding
  • Enthusiasm, optimism, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve customer issues

Preferred Qualifications
