Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Air Travel and Logistics Support, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals traveling with blithequark. Your primary duties will include:

  • Greeting customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and other areas of the airport
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handling customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage fees, and other services
  • Processing payments and handling cash, checks, credit cards, and other forms of payment
  • Managing customer baggage and freight, including checking and handling luggage
  • Answering customer questions and providing information about flights, schedules, and other travel-related topics
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and support
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of customer service and safety

Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to individuals traveling with blithequark

  • Greet customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and other areas of the airport
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage fees, and other services
  • Process payments and handle cash, checks, credit cards, and other forms of payment

  • Answer customer questions and provide information about flights, schedules, and other travel-related topics
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service and support
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of customer service and safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in the airline industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of airline policies and procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
