Job Summary

As an Experienced Home-Based Behavior Interventionist, you will work with children and families in their homes, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires a strong background in behavior intervention, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide home-based behavior intervention services to children and families, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and ensure high-quality services

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in psychology, child development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Previous experience working with children, including babysitting or working with family members
  • Strong background in behavior intervention, including knowledge of ABA principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to pass TB test and background check
  • Willingness to drive to clients' homes and schools throughout San Diego county

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in psychology, child development, or a related field

  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Certification in ABA or a related field (e.g. BCBA, RBT)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
