This exciting opportunity will have you working as a Logistics Coordinator for a large and growing logistics company located in Newark, DE. REMOTE If you have logistics experience and strong data entry skills , explore the various other benefits this opportunity can deliver: Responsibilities:
- Reconcile charge codes and correct invoices.
- Maintain records of shipments processed.
- Provide monthly metrics and analyze reports as needed.
- Reduce the number of third party shipments being force paid.
- Communicate with Business Units, Logistics Leaders, Shippers, Transportation Coordinators and Finance Service Leaders.
- Collect information to evaluate and analyze freight rate quotes and costs.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documents consisting of contracts, schedules, exhibits, and amendments.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Review freight invoices against ShipMax and make corrections.
Third-Party Logistics Excel Data Entry Invoice Processing Inventory Management Vendor Management Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Logistics b ackground or related field preferred
- Proficient in EDI Software & Microsoft Suite
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
