Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our Ads Data Solutions Research team. As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying data models that drive business growth and improve customer outcomes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, business operations, and engineering, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business. Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and deploy data models that drive business growth and improve customer outcomes * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business * Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives * Work closely with engineering teams to develop and deploy data models and algorithms * Drive experimentation and testing to validate the effectiveness of our data-driven solutions * Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports that communicate insights and results to non-technical stakeholders * Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization Essential Qualifications * Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics) * 7+ years of experience designing, building, and comparing realistic systems getting to know solutions * 7+ years of experience with statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, Spark, PySpark) and database languages (e.g. SQL) * Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data modeling and machine learning * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Nice-to-Haves * Doctorate's degree in a quantitative discipline * Excellent analytical competencies, superior level of data knowledge * Strong knowledge of Python and libraries including sci-kit-learn, SciPy * Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming applications including PyMC * Familiarity with data structures and programs including Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, Github * Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools including Tableau, Looker * Familiarity with designing and reading A/B testing and other test types * Demonstrated skills in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem * Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities * Strong communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner, including large and complex ones * Demonstrated management experience, including people and project management What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects that will challenge your skills and push the boundaries of what's possible with data * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of passionate and talented data scientists * Professional development opportunities, including training and mentorship programs * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to the latest tools and technologies, including cloud-based platforms and machine learning frameworks How to Apply If you're a seasoned data scientist with a passion for driving business growth through data, we want to hear from you.
