In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing solutions to problems, ensuring timely delivery of production materials, and maintaining accurate records.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our customer-facing team, working closely with our production team, sales representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensuring customer-supplied components are available on time to meet production schedules
  • Attending scheduling meetings and communicating job status, unique circumstances, and other relevant information to coworkers
  • Serving as a backup to other Customer Service Representatives
  • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of customer-provided information and collecting necessary details to complete jobs
  • Communicating with customers and sales representatives to avoid errors and guesswork
  • Scheduling jobs to meet customer expectations and informing customers and sales representatives of any changes in delivery dates
  • Providing in-house support for outside sales representatives
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date job ticket information
  • Making follow-up calls to customers regarding shipping information and other details
  • Answering phones and emails as needed
  • Providing samples to customers and arranging delivery of packages as required
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly workstation
  • Completing and maintaining all required paperwork, records, and documents
  • Following and complying with all safety and work rules and regulations
  • Maintaining departmental housekeeping standards
  • Greeting and communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

Shift and Work Location
