Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading the technical aspects of data science initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions. Your primary focus will be on Customer Data Science initiatives, which may be short-term or long-term based on business needs. You'll also mentor junior colleagues and implement best practices throughout the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Source Identification:

Identify and extract relevant data sources, perform preliminary data quality checks, and review deliverables from junior colleagues.

Problem Formulation:

Analyze business problems, question assumptions, and recommend solutions to drive business growth.

Analytical Modeling:

Develop and deploy machine learning models, conduct exploratory data analysis, and identify dimensions and designs of experiments.

Model Deployment & Scaling:

Work with MLOps to push ML models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.

Code Development & Testing:

Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, create test cases, and contribute to code documentation.

Applied Business Acumen:

Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

Model Assessment & Validation:

Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented.

Data Visualization and Storytelling:

Develop compelling stories based on data insights, create graphical representations of data, and present to various audiences.

What You'll Bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data science.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to execute projects end-to-end, implement best practices in ML Ops, and clearly communicate with business, product, and application partners.
• Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into easy-to-understand language and present to management and external clients.
