Project Manager – IT Acquisition Integrations Join one of the fastest-growing infrastructure companies in the U.S., focused on improving water, sewer, and industrial systems through innovative technologies. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead IT efforts for both company acquisitions and broader IT integration projects, guiding each phase—from due diligence to full integration of systems and infrastructure. You'll manage complex projects across departments using a mix of PMBOK, Agile, and hybrid methodologies to ensure smooth, on-time delivery. This is a fast-paced, growth-driven environment with opportunities to shape large-scale IT transformation initiatives. Duties/Responsibilities Project Planning & Management

  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports.
  • Manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; track and report on budgets.
  • Work with the Acquisition PMO to help manage exceptions and provide status updates.

Team Management

  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for commitments.
  • Remove roadblocks to team progress; leverage organizational resources to improve project capacity.
  • Mentor and develop team members.

Solution Architect & Technology Team Support

  • Support solution architects and technology leads in managing expectations for deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and help implement effective project governance.
  • Work with executive and change leadership to ensure smooth onboarding of integration teams.

Team Building

  • Promote empowerment, ensure full engagement from team members, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-quality results.

Job Related Competencies

  • Solid understanding of all IT aspects of acquisition and integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, with the ability to blend approaches as needed.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for mentoring, coaching, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Ability to “talk the technical talk,” using IT terminology fluently even if not a deep technical expert.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, Microsoft, Cisco, and Azure environments preferred.
  • Sufficient technical background to evaluate risks, issues, and integration plans accurately.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting at all levels, including executives.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture.
  • Experience developing or working without a pre-defined integration playbook.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, project management, or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Preferred certifications (not required): PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM, or related project management/agile certifications.

Related Experience

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale IT integration projects, including ERP.
  • Experience with M&A integration or broader IT integration work.
  • Knowledge and experience with NetSuite preferred, particularly MRP and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional project teams (5–10+ members).
  • IT infrastructure, operations, and/or application delivery experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting or reviewing IT and cybersecurity due diligence is a plus.

Tools & Systems Experience

  • Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, S&OP, TMS, and WMS tools and systems.

Travel Requirements

  • 15–25% travel required (site visits for integrations across the U.S.).
  • 25% is the standard expectation
