Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk – Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. You will be the first point of contact for customers who require technical assistance, and you will be responsible for opening and submitting requests into our ticketing system for review by our Help Desk technicians. You will also be responsible for reviewing the outcome of each ticket and emailing responses to customers to ensure that they receive the updates they need.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process requests for technical assistance from customers

  • Open and submit requests into the company's ticketing system for review by Help Desk technicians
  • Review the outcome of each ticket and email responses to customers to ensure that they receive the updates they need
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Work collaboratively with Help Desk technicians to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for data entry and customer service

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous experience in a Help Desk or customer service role, preferably in an IT or technology company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk software

  • Knowledge of IT and technology concepts and terminology
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or IT support (e.g. CompTIA A+ or ITIL)
