Responsibilities

As a Customer-Facing Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll collaborate closely with our customers, bringing expertise in data science and our platform to help them achieve their objectives with AI. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting customers through the entire customer lifecycle, from pre-sales to ongoing client relationships
• Acting as a trusted advisor on AI, enabling customers to solve complex data science problems using our platform
• Representing our product to customer executives in the pre-sales process, leading demonstrations, advising on and evaluating the viability of customer use cases, and helping develop success criteria
• Working side-by-side with the Sales, Account Management, and Field Engineering teams to help our customers achieve their goals with our platform
• Acting internally as the voice of the customer to the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Presenting at conferences and/or helping create other marketing content

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 4-5+ years of real-world business experience in a data science role
• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative subject
• Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure that machine learning solutions deliver successfully on business outcomes
• Strong customer interaction experience
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of data
• Fluency with scripting in Python or R (preferably both)

Desired

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

• Advanced degree
• Familiarity with consultative sales process in the analytics marketplace
• Familiarity with data platform technology integrations
• Experience dealing with complex customer organizations
