We are now seeking an experienced Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Maryland, where you will play a vital role in our pharmacy operations and contribute to our mission of delivering life-saving medications with accuracy and efficiency.Job OverviewAs an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you will be responsible for swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our pharmacy system, communicating with customers over the phone, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. You will work under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, ensuring that all tasks are performed with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities• Efficiently enter prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness• Troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies and resolve issues promptly• Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner• Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input, maintaining the highest level of data integrity• Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphereEssential Qualifications• High School graduate or equivalent• Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration• Strong computer skills, with experience in pharmacy software systems• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations and attention to detail• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred• Framework experience is preferredPreferred Qualifications• Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems promptly• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere• Experience with medication packaging and pharmacy operations, with a strong understanding of long-term care pharmacy practices and regulationsSkills and Competencies• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems promptly• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on flexibility and responsivenessCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt Remedi SeniorCare, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
