Job Summary

As a Senior Transportation Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of transportation strategies that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement new technologies, and develop and manage budgets.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement transportation strategies that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction

• Lead the development and implementation of process improvements that reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement new technologies, and develop and manage budgets
• Manage and develop a team of transportation operations professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of performance and engagement
• Develop and maintain relationships with 3PLs, growers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transportation operations
• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a related field
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and implementing process improvements that drive business growth
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team of transportation operations professionals
• Experience with process management and improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean
• Familiarity with transportation management systems, such as TMW or Manhattan Associates

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• 15+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a related field
• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with cloud-based transportation management systems, such as BluJay or MercuryGate
• Experience with process automation and robotics, such as robotic process automation (RPA) or machine learning (ML)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or multilingual
