Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the role of Beginner Medical Coder – ICD & CPT Basics (Remote). Key Responsibilities
- * Assign basic medical codes using ICD and CPT for diagnosis and procedure documentation
- * Accurately enter patient data and coded information into electronic health records (EHR)
- * Work with senior coders and compliance officers to ensure accurate documentation
- * Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records at all times
- * Review medical documents for completeness and consistency
- * Ensure adherence to current coding regulations and best practices
- * Participate in regular training and assessments to strengthen coding skills
- * Communicate with internal teams for clarification of medical records or procedures
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- * High school diploma or equivalent required
- * Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology preferred
- * Interest in ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- * Computer literacy with the ability to learn medical software tools
- * Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- * Good communication and organizational skills
- * Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
- Experience
- * No prior experience required
- * Freshers, recent graduates, or individuals from non-medical backgrounds are welcome to apply
