Job Summary As a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) - GRR, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo, mail, and baggage. This is a physical role that requires lifting, bending, standing, and walking. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often in challenging weather conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include: Securely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting cargo, mail, and baggage to and from aircraft. Protecting cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. Safely operating and maneuvering ground equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors. Utilizing scanners and computers to ensure accurate tracking and routing of cargo and baggage. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient aircraft turnaround.

Key Responsibilities

Core Functions Load and unload aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient handling of cargo, mail, and baggage. Operate ground equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors, in a safe and controlled manner. Monitor and report any damage or discrepancies in cargo, mail, or baggage. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards. Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations. Safety and Security Adhere to all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or concerns to management. Participate in regular safety training and drills to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Proficiency in English. Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field. Knowledge of airline operations, safety protocols, and regulations. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
