Azure Architect/ Lead-onsite

• Translate technical design documents provided by architects into technical stories for developers
• Collaborate with operations to continuously improve deployment standards for production code
• Managing an onsite/offshore delivery model Interaction with both IT and business stakeholders
• Responsible for problem solving on various medium to complex data related use cases
• Enrich, define, and implement governance standards to mitigate against entropy via continual operational excellence
• Implement and continuously improve high-quality coding standards and practices via reviews
• Provide data analytics technical leadership when collaborating with other IT teams on project work Position Qualifications:
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience in designing and development of modern data platforms with technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Possess a strong background in Databricks Workspace Admin Databricks CLI Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
• Advanced knowledge Azure SQL and Azure data factory
• Must have strong Data Warehousing Business Intelligence background by experience
• Experience software development on a team using Agile methodology
• Must have solid performance tuning exposure on both database and ETL design perspective
• Ability to perform efficient data analysis on source systems and translate business rules into SQL queries Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 12/5/2024 The annual salary for this position is between $101,000 $160,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
