If you are a numbers and data enthusiast with a passion for Excel, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job OverviewAs a Project Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting our team of professionals in ensuring that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to. This will involve a range of project associate related duties, including but not limited to:• Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems• Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits• Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems• Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients• Running and creating reports• Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team• Scanning and indexing of documentsKey ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be expected to work closely with our team of registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing specialists to ensure seamless project execution. Your key responsibilities will include:• Providing exceptional support to the Revenue Recovery Department• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry and information gathering• Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of hospital patient accounting systems• Creating and preparing patient itemized bills and reports• Building strong relationships with post-acute healthcare facilities and other stakeholders• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Health Information Management and Revenue Integrity ServicesEssential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:• A strong background in data entry and information gathering• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Proficiency in bolthires Excel and other software applications• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferredPreferred QualificationsWhile not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:• Experience in Health Information Management or Revenue Integrity Services• Knowledge of hospital patient accounting systems• Certification in medical records or a related field• Experience working in a team environment• Strong organizational and time management skillsSkills and CompetenciesTo excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Attention to detail : You will need to be highly detail-oriented and able to accurately enter data and gather information.• Analytical skills : You will need to be able to analyze data and information to identify trends and patterns.• Communication skills : You will need to be able to effectively communicate with our team and stakeholders, including post-acute healthcare facilities.• Time management skills : You will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.• Teamwork : You will need to be able to work collaboratively with our team to achieve project goals.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
