Position Overview As a Google Paid Ads Specialist, you'll manage and optimize high-stakes advertising campaigns for emergency service businesses where every click counts. You'll work with restoration contractors who depend on immediate lead generation in competitive, high-CPC markets. Primary Platforms:

• Google Ads (Search) - Primary focus
• Google Local Service Ads - Secondary focus
• Microsoft Ads - nice to have
• Facebook/Instagram Ads - nice to have

Core Competencies Required:

• Campaign strategy and competitive positioning
• Advanced troubleshooting and optimization
• A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
• Audience targeting and user intent analysis
• Emergency services and local service marketing funnels
• Compelling CTA development

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimize PPC and social advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
• Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
• Develop and implement strategies specific to emergency service industries
• Manage campaigns in high-cost markets while maintaining strong ROI
• Collaborate with our team to refine agency processes and standard operating procedures
• Stay current on platform updates and industry best practices
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on campaign performance data

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in running Google Ads campaigns for water damage restoration and roofing
• Proven track record with Google Ads in competitive local service markets
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
• Experience with emergency/local service business marketing
• Legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Canada
• Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup

Preferred:

• 6+ years of paid advertising experience
• Google Ads certifications
• Experience in restoration, home services, or emergency service industries
• Familiarity with high-CPC markets and lead generation campaigns
• Experience with seasonal campaign management

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour (based on experience and performance in interview process)
• Growth Opportunity: This role will start as a contractor but if all goes well you will have the opportunity to be hired on full-time.
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 to 5 CST - 40 hours per week (but flexible)
• Professional Development: Exposure to a specialized niche with 100+ client accounts
