About the Role
As a Data Engineer on our Advertisements Information Model Development team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our advertising capabilities. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and implement data models, pipelines, and architectures that enable us to make data-driven decisions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures that support our advertising capabilities
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and implement data models and pipelines
- Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems and pipelines
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
