Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our cutting-edge products and services, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and other industry-leading brands that showcase Disney's unparalleled content and characters across our brands and establishments. We're now seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Los Angeles or New York City. As a key member of our HR team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of arenaflex by driving strategic talent management and development initiatives that align with our business objectives.

About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you'll sit at the intersection of HR and the business, working closely with our Programming and Product groups within the Trade, Development, and Character association. You'll be responsible for leading and collaborating on all HR projects and initiatives on behalf of the client group, working in partnership with key business and HR stakeholders. Your expertise will be sought by business leaders on all talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leadership development, change management, organizational design, and learning opportunities. You'll be a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support to drive business results and advance a culture of continuous growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, fostering effective working relationships with internal partners and clients

  • Proactively assess business and organizational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach
  • Mentor business leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management to promote a culture of continuous growth and innovation
  • Embody arenaflex's values of adaptability, agility, transparency, readiness, and global thinking, seeking out innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Prioritize and respond to the needs of business leaders and employees, driving timely and effective resolution
  • Analyze HR data and trends, presenting insights in a clear and compelling manner to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure a seamless recruitment and hiring process
  • Utilize knowledge of individual and organizational dynamics to drive onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development
  • Partner with DEI functional groups and employee resource groups to execute and measure the impact of key diversity initiatives
  • Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy, working with Learning partners to design and deliver development experiences that close gaps between current and future capabilities
  • Lead organizational design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed and efficiency and support rapidly changing business needs
  • Collaborate with other HR colleagues, fostering a positive work relationship and working together on projects and initiatives across various teams within arenaflex

Required Capabilities and Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software development or product groups

  • Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role
  • Ability to work with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, addressing issues that may not always have a clear process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives
  • Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and suggest solutions
  • Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management

Education

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field, with relevant work experience

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary offered will be commensurate with internal value and may vary based on the candidate's geographic location, work-related experience, skills, and qualifications, among other factors. A bonus or long-term incentive units may be included as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of clinical, financial, or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
