2026 Summer Internship - Utilization Management Operations

CareSource is a management services company offering a 12-week paid summer internship program for college students. The intern will provide support on special projects and initiatives, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with team members on various tasks related to Utilization Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and project deliverables
• Collaborate with team members on projects or initiatives
• Contribute ideas for ideas on improvement, and innovation
• Support the development excel spreadsheets for reports and presentations
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, including moving files to a SharePoint site, transferring information to spreadsheets and logging supporting documentation
• Gain hands-on experience in SharePoint, excel, chat GPT
• Shadow team members to learn about Utilization Management processes, BA roles, and functions

Skills

• Current college / university student in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Effective listening and critical thinking skills
• Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
• Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
