About the Role

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst with arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data assets. You'll work closely with our team to design, implement, and maintain data protection and privacy policies and procedures that meet the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks, developing incident response plans, and ensuring that our data protection and privacy programs are aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and assess data protection and privacy risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

• Design, implement, and maintain data protection and privacy policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection and privacy are integrated into all aspects of our business
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
• Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

* CISA certification

• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
