Responsibilities

As a part-time Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about our clients' products and services
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review and developing a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional service
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our clients receive the best possible support

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus!)
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills (you'll be working on a computer and around technology, so comfort with technology is a must!)
  • Strong ability to multitask (we're a fast-paced environment, and you'll need to be able to juggle multiple conversations and tasks at once)
  • Positive and professional demeanor (you'll be representing our clients, so a friendly and approachable attitude is essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you'll be communicating with customers via chat, so clear and concise communication is key)
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment (we're a dynamic team that's always evolving, so flexibility is a must!)

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin
  • Own your own computer or laptop with a webcam and microphone (you'll need to be able to participate in remote training and work from home)
  • Be able to attend four weeks of paid, remote training via Zoom (Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM EDT)
  • Be able to work five days a week, including a Saturday or Sunday (we're a flexible team, but we need you to be available to work a variety of shifts)
