Allocation Analyst - May 2026

The Allocation Analyst will optimize product distribution, drive sales, and enhance profitability through data-driven analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize product mix at store level through analysis and allocation to maximize profitable sales
  • Develop weekly shipping strategies by analyzing sales trends, inventory, store volumes, and demographics
  • Monitor and interpret inventory levels to ensure alignment with sales plans, tracking store sales and inventory ratios
  • Evaluate and critique product mix through store visits and competitor analysis, sharing findings and actionable plans
  • Identify and implement business opportunities by forecasting sales trends, researching market trends, and providing strategic recommendations

Skills

  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor's degree in Retail or Business Management preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to build strong partnerships across teams
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, clearly conveying insights and recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
