Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Science Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to unite and break down complex data sets, driving business growth and informing key decisions. You'll lead a team of data scientists and analysts, overseeing project executions and ensuring that assets are allocated effectively to meet business objectives. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling will be instrumental in driving business success and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic plans to unite and break down complex data sets, driving business growth and informing key decisions
- Lead a team of data scientists and analysts, overseeing project executions and ensuring that assets are allocated effectively to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives and identify new opportunities for growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry-leading practices and advancements, applying them to drive business success
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to address business issues and drive growth
- Develop and manage budgets for strategic initiatives, ensuring that financial plans are aligned with business objectives
- Oversee financial planning and execution, ensuring that business objectives are met and exceeded
- Create and implement training programs to develop staff skills and knowledge, ensuring that the team is equipped to drive business success
Essential Capabilities
* Experience with data analysis and machine learning tools, including SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and other relevant software
- Profound knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques
- Experience with open-source data science and analytics tools, including Python, R, and other relevant software
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving business initiatives
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in a business setting
- At least 2 years of direct management, indirect management, or cross-functional team leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Capabilities
* Advanced education in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline
- Experience communicating at the executive level
- Experience driving cross-functional teams and leading business initiatives
