[Remote] CyberSecurity Defense Operations Analyst

They are seeking a CyberSecurity Defense Operations Analyst to monitor and respond to security alerts, document incidents, and collaborate with teams to enhance security measures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and respond to complex security alerts within the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC)
- Document and log cyber defense incidents from detection through resolution or escalation
- Ensure information is appropriately cataloged, analyzed, and reported for root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with Digital Forensics and Incident Response teams to enhance security measures
- Make decisions regarding work methods with minimal direction, following established guidelines
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM and EDR
- Ability to investigate and respond to security alerts effectively
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Related Security Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related concentration
